• Deed of Covenant

  Your lease may state that any purchaser of your property is required to enter into a deed of covenant with the Landlord which requires the purchaser to comply with the obligations and conditions contained in the lease which include, above all, the payment of rent.

• Notice of Charging

  If you mortgage (or re-mortgage) or sublet your property, you will have to provide notice of this to the Landlord. Likewise, if you are selling your property, the incoming purchaser has to provide notice of their purchase.
